 Yes. Most reputable companies give a safety overview, instructions on operation, and review the local water regulations before you take off. 


 Wear a swimsuit or quick-dry clothing, and a life jacket (which is usually provided). Sunglasses with a strap, water shoes, and sunscreen are also recommended. 


 

Rental periods vary from 30 minutes to full-day rentals. Some companies also offer hourly packages or half-day rates. Advance booking may be required for longer rentals.


 Yes, most jet skis can carry two people, and some models accommodate three. Always check the weight capacity and ask the rental company about passenger limits. 


 You will likely be held financially responsible for any damage. A damage deposit may be charged, and your credit card could be billed for repair costs unless optional damage insurance was purchased. 


 Yes. Most areas have speed limits, no-wake zones, and designated riding areas. Breaking these rules can lead to fines or rental termination.

 It depends on the location and time of year. Walk-ins may be accepted, but reservations are strongly recommended during weekends, holidays, or peak season. 


 

Sometimes. Some companies include a full tank of fuel in the rental fee, while others charge separately based on usage. Always confirm what's included upfront.


 Yes, each jet ski has a maximum weight capacity (usually between 350–600 lbs), depending on the model. Overloading can be unsafe and is not allowed.
